Last week, I participated at the annual NSPN science policy symposium in New York City, an event organized by SEPA – an association of scholars among Weill Cornell, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Rockefeller University.
Last October 20th, as a visiting fellow at Cornell University, I participated at University-Wide GET SET Teaching Conference. This event was offered by Center for Teaching Innovation and was open to all graduate students, TAs, and postdocs at Cornell.
Last Wednesday, October 10 at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, Cornell University the CIHF October 2018 Roundtable – Dining and Service Innovations Across the Health Care Continuum took place. I had the pleasure to participate as a visiting fellow at Cornell.
The world food system is called to face unprecedented challenges. Today in the world 815 million people are hungry, while 2.1 billion people are obese or overweight, one third of food production is wasted along the food supply chain - from farm to table - and a large part of agricultural and food production it is used for feed and biofuels in spite of the scourge of hunger in the world.
Last September 7th, I participated at the roundtable SUSTAINABILITY ROUNDTABLE, which was held at the School of Hotel Administration, SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University, Ithaca, USA.
I’m currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Food and Drug at the University of Parma (Italy) and lecturer in consumer behavior.
My studies lie at the nexus of psychology, sensory analysis, and experimental economics to better inform policy-makers, private companies, and the general public on eating behavior.
