Last week in Parma the 9th EAAE- European Association of Agricultural Economics PhD workshop was held at the Department of Economics and Management of Parma University.
The workshop was co-organised by the Italian Association of Agricultural and Applied Economics, the University of Parma through the School of Advanced Study on Food and Nutrition and the scientific collaboration of the University Cattolica di Piacenza and the University of Bologna. Hundreds of young PhD students coming from many Universities meet and share their latest findings on research in the agricultural, environmental, food and development economics domain. In total, we had 34 paper presentations on Research Project, 90 papers on contributed project, and four plenary sessions. Among the Keynote speakers, Dries Liesbeth (Wageningen University, Netherlands) who delivered a presentation about "Publishing in Agricultural Economics & Policy: (Hot) topics & methods" and Gil, José M. (CREDA-UPC-IRTA, Spain) who discussed Agricultural Economics towards 2030.
Our research group was represented by Giulia Andreani, a PhD candidate, who presented her work on “Exploring the implementation of nudges to foster healthy and sustainable eating at the university canteen”.
