On April 1st, I started my visiting stay at the Department of Marketing and Consumer Research of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
The TUM School of Life Sciences is a school of the Technical University of Munich, located at its Weihenstephan campus in Freising. I’m hosted by Prof. Dr. Jutta Roosen heads the department of Marketing and Consumer Research. Her research focuses on the study of consumer behavior and demand analysis with an interest in cognitive aspects of perception and cultural influences on behavior.
My stay will last two months in which I will collaborate on a research project on how to use nudging techniques to promote healthy diets among students. I hope to bring here at TUM my expertise in empirical consumer studies conducted in the last years. At the same time, I believe I will widen my areas of expertise thanks to the outstanding high-value research that Dr. Jutta Roosen and her team are conducting.
I have already been introduced to several faculty members to make sure that the host institute staff is familiar with my work. I believe that a collaborative network for future research projects will be established.
