Last week, I had the pleasure to host Joo Yun Ha, Director of Nutricious Studio, as a guest speaker in my teaching class Consumer Behavior at the Department of Economics of the University of Parma.

Current trends of food tech for a healthy diet

Nutricious is a psychology-nutrition-based studio that does classes, 1:1 counseling, research about eating behavior and nutrition. She seeks easy and sustainable methods to help people design their eating behavior including psychological factors, environmental factors, nutrition etc.

Her lecture was titled “Who is the changemaker of obesity and healthy lifestyle? Medical care vs. food business, or else?” and she discussed about the current trends of food tech (functional food, food as an experience, curation, delivery service, using IT - smart kitchen, robot, ESG), the trends of healthcare (Lifestyle changing apps + devices, digital therapeutics, remote medical treatment), and nutrition trend (Intestinal microorganism, Gentle nutrition, and Personalization).
