New Academic Challenge

1 May, 2017

Dear friends and colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that I have been awarded with the high reputed Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowship. For the next three years, my research project will be supported by the European Commission (Horizon 2020).

I will be a visiting Fellow in the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University. Cornell University is currently ranked in the world’s top 5 universities for agriculture & forestry. I really appreciate the opportunity given by them.

My new Academic challenge will begin there the first of July where I will be carrying on a project called "CONSUMEHealth. Using consumer science to improve healthy eating habits".

This blog aims to communicate targeted information about my project to multiple audiences, not only academia but also the general public in a strategic and effective manner. In fact, communicating with citizens about agrifood economics studies and their benefits is critical to show the impact of research and innovation on society and people's lives.

If you are interested in finding out more about my research (healthy diet, sustainability in the wine and fish sector, novel food and entomophagy, regional products and GMOs, ...) and updates (conferences, collaborations, papers, etc.), I welcome you to visit this website, follow me on social networks, subscribe to the newsletter or just contact me.

I hope you will enjoy surfing on this blog and please share it with your contacts.
