I would like to share with you some very interesting events just around the corner.

INOMICS, a career site for Economists, just opened the 3rd edition of our annual Conference Grant Contest for students, academics and professionals. The grant of €500 grant can be used to cover travel, accommodation, and/or registration costs of the conference of your choice. The deadline for participating is December 10th 2017.

The Careers Programme of EuroScience, a non-profit grassroots association of researchers in Europe, encourages proposals from all actors taking part in shaping careers related to science to participate to an exceptional Careers Fair, which will enable young researchers, educational institutes and industrial actors to address the issues surrounding the challenges and opportunities for careers in Europe.  The call for session proposals is open until 31st October. For those of you interested in scholarship, the Ermenegildo Zegna Founder’s Scholarship provides scholarships of up to €50,000 per annum to enable a small number of exceptionally promising Italians to undertake post-graduate studies or research outside Italy. Looking for one of the most exciting food conference of the year? Now it’s open the call for the Fourth International Convention on Food History and Food Studies which will take place on the 7-8 June 2018 in Tours (France). All proposals pertaining to food studies will be considered, with a multi- and cross-disciplinary and covering all historical periods. Finally, this year the European Week of Regions and Cities will reach its 15th birthday. It is a moment for talking about the challenges that the EU regional and urban policy should be addressing today and in the coming years. Between 9 and 12 October 2017, the Brussels-based European Week of Regions and Cities programme will feature 130 workshops debates, project visits and networking events.
