New call for papers for the conference "Food as a cultural heritage: challenges, processes and perspectives" organised by the European Institute for the History and Cultures of Food (IEHCA, Tours, France next 15-16 November 2018. Next November 8-10 the 7th EAAE PhD Workshop will be held in the Escola Superior d’Agricultura de Barcelona (ESAB), at the Politechnic University of Catalonia. The workshop aims at offering to the future agro-food and natural resource economists a space for debate, discussion and knowledge exchange on topics related to food markets future challenges. EAAE PhD workshop is co-organized by the Spanish Association of Agricultural Economics (AEEA) and the Centre for Research in Agrofood and Development Economics-UPC-IRTA (CREDA). Deadline for proposal submission is September 8.

On Friday 29 September European Researchers’ Night will take place in over 300 cities across Europe. Thousands of events will showcase what researchers really do for society in interactive and engaging ways, promoting research careers to young people. All the events are supported by the European Commission as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions to boost the careers of researchers.
