The second Winter Workshop: Behavioral and Experimental Economics of Food Consumption will be held at Centre Paul Langevin in France next January 29th – February 1st, 2019. The aim of the workshop is to unite researchers to integrate new insights from behavioral economics into the toolkit used to address food consumption issues. The focus is on heuristics and choice processes in food decision making.

Sustainability Journal is pleased to announce the “2018 Sustainability Young Investigator Award” for those who are under 35 years old and have conducted ground-breaking sustainability research and made a significant contribution to the advancement of the field of sustainability. The award will consist of 2000 Swiss Francs. The winner will be announced in February 2019

Next 21-22 November the WorldWineSymposium will be held in Palermo (Italy). The conference is organized in four sessions: Sustainability, Climate change, Consumers, and Market, Policy and Trade. The main topics covered by the Sustainability session concern the analysis of drivers for sustainability at industry and corporate level, such as the use of innovative production techniques, innovative products and packaging solutions in order to enhance marketing performance. Submission Deadline: 20th October.

The Organizing Committee invites all to participate in “Science & Wine – The Wine of the Future” at May, 2019 in the Alfândega Congress CentrePorto, Portugal. Selected, refereed papers from the 2019 “Science & Wine – The wine of the Future” conference are planned to be published in a special issue of Agricultural and Food Chemistry

Every year EFFoST organizes this prestigious international food science and technology conference, an important scientific event that brings together world-renowned researchers, scientists, policy makers, professionals and students from multidisciplinary food-related fields to share the latest developments. The 32nd EFFoST International Conference with the theme “Developing innovative food structures and functionalities through process and reformulation to satisfy consumer needs and expectations”. The event will be held in Nantes, France from 6-8 November 2018 under the theme: Developing innovative food structures and functionalities through process and reformulation to satisfy consumer needs and expectations. There will be also a session on “THE FUTURE of FOODS: Education, Consumers science and emerging expectations, the factory of the future”.
