I’ve always had a great interest in sustainability research topics, especially in the wine sector.

Last week I participated ad the 31st EFFoST International Conference on Food Science and Technology Challenges for the 21st Century - Research to Progress Society, 13-16 November 2017 in Sitges (Spain).

On 7 November 2017, we celebrated the 150th anniversary of Marie Skłodowska-Curie's birth. On 10th November took place the event “L’eredità di Marie Skłodowska-Curie a 150 anni dalla nascita” in Rome.

In the last couple of weeks, I have been hosted at the Institute for Food Laws and Regulations and at the Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics of the Michigan State University.

"I believe that policy recommendations should be scientifically based in order to help consumers choose food products based on real characteristics and not just slogans and false claims," says Dr. Giovanni Sogari.

After the first three months of my EU MSCA project “CONSUMEHealth. Using consumer science to improve healthy eating habits”, I would like to share some of my activities.  

The European Researchers’ Nights are events held by Universities and research centers in all Europe every year the last Friday of September. 

The European Researchers’ Nights is a unique opportunity to meet researchers from all the fields and engage them in what they really do for society.

Last week I participated, and contributed as Local Organized Committee staff, at the XV European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) Congress in Parma.The event resulted in a great success in terms of participation and involvement.

They could be anything from a support programme for small and medium sized businesses or help young researchers to carry on their own projects in a foreign country and multidisciplinary environment.
